About Us

Sorce Architecture, P.C. is a National full service architectural, planning and interior design firm based in metropolitan Chicago. Sorce Architecture provides a broad range of professional expertise, knowledge base management and administration services in all phases of architecture, code research, interior design, engineering, contract and construction aspects in architecture, which includes master planning, programming and design of large mixed-use commercial developments, restaurants, adaptive re-use, retail/commercial and single and multi-family residential projects.

Chicago Regional Energy Design Professional

Sorce Architecture is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council - Chicago Chapter and has been qualified by the City of Chicago to certify that buildings comply and meet Chicago’s stringent energy code requirements.

Self Certification in the City of Chicago

Sorce Architecture is uniquely qualified and licensed in Chicago’s self-certification process, thereby streamlining the time equation in the process of obtaining building permits.  For eligible projects, a face-to-face plan review between the architect and city permit officials, greatly reduces the time required in the approval process, thereby obtaining permits in expeditious fashion.
